The weather is good today. As soon as I finish this post, I will be backing up my blog data. I feel a bit relax as it approaches weekend. Still, I have two on-going projects and they are quite important too. In fact, I have not even started them. Anyway, I will keep them rolling soon.
I reached the office at 0820 and there were hardly any parking spaces left. There were so many reserved parking spaces and it caused massive jam after 0830. For lunch, I had Mee’s chicken pies and I must admit that they were nice. They were definitely better than those chicken pies that I had eaten before.
Mee is at Chinatown now to buy mooncakes. I asked her to buy a box for my colleagues. I am not quite sure whether my colleagues tasted mooncakes before and thought that it would be nice to buy a box for them. This year, Mooncake Festival or Lantern Festival which is also called as Mid-Autumn Festival, falls on 14th September 2008.
Few years back, I was attracted to an Extreme Makeover show. In the programme, they transformed selected participants physically by gong through a lot of process. Surgery doctors and fitness instructors as well as make-up artists were called in to help transformed each participant. It was amazing how people could makeover in a span of few weeks with the help of modern technology. The result was unbelievable but it would be up to the participants’ determination to maintain their best looks.
Roxio Extreme Digital Makeover is another makeover show but with the same aim, which is to enhance people with better digital knowledge. Head over to the makeover website and you will see two makeover episodes; Wedding Day Crunch and A Walk in the Park. I am particularly attracted to the Wedding Day Crunch because wedding day is such an important day in everyone’s life. To colorize it with digital makeover could make it more memorable. Well, you do not want to have any mistake on your wedding day, do you?
What’s more, enter the contest now and you could be on the show. There are digital goodies to be won too.

Mee made some chicken pies for my lunch for the next few days. They look good but wait till I try it tomorrow. If possible, I will post the pictures tomorrow. Yeah, if possible. I talked a lot today. Partly because there were two system errors produced by the software we used and I had to chat with the support over the phone. One error was considered as the system bug but there is another work around to make the thing work. For the other system error, I will need to follow up tomorrow. There were also a few ad hoc users’ requests while I was working on my current tasks. Hence, I needed to speak to them over the phone or personally in order to find out more information.
Well, I am quite exhausted and the journey from my office back to my rented house seems farther and farther. The traffic is the worst on Monday and Tuesday. I need to use another route which is farther by 5 miles but at least the traffic will be much better. Sometimes, I rather stay longer in the office than going home early.
Hmm… I guess I will be calling home this weekend. My father has decided to renovate the house few months ago and the work has started. I wonder what it will look like when the renovation is completed.

Have you count your BMI lately? Since I came to UK, my weight is still the same. It seems like I will never break through 50kg. I eat normal and have not been exercising a lot but still, my weight is around 50kg. When I went for my new patient check, the nurse told me that I am underweight. But when I told her that I have always been like this, she asked me not to worry since I am always like this.
If you google, you can easily find methods to lose weight but not to gain weight. All the weight gaining methods are about muscle building and such. Yeah, I did try to go to gym and drink protein but they did not work for me. A lot of my friends hope to be like me because they find it hard to lose weight. On the other hand, I sometimes, hope to be like them; the ability to control the weight.
Sad news today. My blog was not accepted by PayPerPost in the recent blog assessment. I wonder what the meaning by quality blog is. My blog is a personal blog and there will always be posts about my personal stuffs and ideas. All the opportunities that I have done were original and I have never broken any rules. Anyway, it has become a fact now. Hopefully, I will get the chance to resubmit my blog at later dates.
Yesterday, Mee suddenly granted me the permission to change my cell phone. Of course, it was a surprise to me. Well, I am still thinking though. Maybe, at the end of the month, I will change my mind again. Hmm.. should I exchange P990i for a P1 or some other slimmer models but without a QWERTY keyboard? Anyway, I am not in the mood now because I am still sad about leaving PayPerPost.

Hmm… my weekend was spent with doing nothing. Mee went to work and I was home alone for about five hours. I vacuumed the room, the toilet and the kitchen. I did not post on Sunday because all I was thinking of was to rest. This week will again, be a very busy week for me. I have been working for the whole day on different issues on different programs. My desk is piled up with tasks and people are rushing me to complete their requests. It is indeed a hectic day.
I have not gotten the time for myself to write some articles. What I am planning now is to write many articles and publish the slowly. At the moment, I only have two articles yet to be published. There are so many things that I want to do on my blog but I just have to stop them for a while because I am busy with my current job. I have not done my final review with my manager yet.
My landlord is still sick but my housemate’s boyfriend went back to his home country on Sunday. It is very peaceful now.
