Mee is currently on strict diet. The reason being, we will be going back to Malaysia and she is trying to keep the look when she came to UK two years ago. Hmm… time flies. Well, at least she does not resort to consume diet pills to control her diet. Before we came to UK, diet pills were very popular among the people in Asian countries like Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Soon, it became popular in Malaysia and Singapore. Sometimes, you could see news about the best diet pills being imitated by unlicensed manufacturer and caused great concern to the public.

However, I am still glad that Mee does not craze for diet pills in order to be slim. Not before, not now, hopefully not in the future.

I almost ordered a white Samsung NC10 netbook last night from Dixons. Mee and I reckoned that the white ones look better than the blue and the black ones. I have a £5 discount voucher code, the delivery was free and the price has dropped. So far, Dixons offers the cheapest price compares to other online stores. I thought that I should wait another day to see if there will be any changes.

Well today, there are changes. It has delivery charge on the white ones and the black ones but not the blue ones. The blue Samsung NC10 is out of stock at the moment and there is no increase or decrease in price. Hopefully, the delivery charge will be waived again tonight. Right at the moment, I am watching closely on Dixons’ Samsung NC10. Wish me luck!

Why registering your own domain is important? I never thought about this question before and thought that a sub-domain would be good enough since I am only creating a blog for my own. First of all, what does it mean by sub-domain? My previous URL for My Ideas 4 You blog was http://myi4u.110mb.com. Thus, it was a sub-domain of 110mb.com. Now, My Idea 4 You is on its own domain which is, as you know, http://myi4u.me. Dot me is the latest domain which is best for bloggers because it is all about ‘ME’ factor. Dot com is the popular one while dot org is mostly for organisation and so on. All My Reviews is on dot info which is a short form for information.

The reason behind registering all two domains for my two blogs is to make them unique. Imagine if I change my host and I do not have my own domain. I will then lose my readers because I have to change my sub-domain to another host and it will become http://myi4u.otherhost.com. Not only I will have to change my URL, I will also lose the realranks or pageranks which is associated to the previous URL.

Well, I have blogged for six months before I registered my first domain. The moment I created All My Reviews, I registered a domain for it immediately because I know the importance of having a domain by itself. So, why wait and regret later?

My final review was completed finally. I am glad that my manager is pleased with my performance and how I work. However, one thing to note is my expression. My manager told me that my expression is not obvious in a sense that the person talking to me may not know whether I agree or not or whether I understand or not. Personally, he does not think that as a problem because he knows that I am like that since I have been working with him. Anyway, it is all about improvement and I am determined to improve.

Yesterday, I had successfully setup my Nokia E61with VOIP settings. Now, it will work as a VOIP phone and Mee can enjoy calling anyone she likes without being restricted by the computer’s location. In fact, VOIP calls can be made using Nokia E61 without switching on the computer. Nice.

Mee has been urging me to apply for a US visa. Well, that is a good thought but not after we come back from Malaysia. US, good place to travel I think. I never been to US before but definitely would like to go there. Most of my colleagues do not like New York, Las Vegas and places like that. For me, those places are a must. The movie Ocean Eleven gave me some ideas of how nice it is to be in Las Vegas. Erm, not to live there of course. A stay in one of the hotel las vegas and a visit to Las Vegas casinos would be splendid.

I cannot wait to go but still, I have to save enough of money and most importantly, sort out my visa.

It was raining in the morning and it is bright and sunny at the moment. I managed to replace the damaged LCD screen of my Nokia E61 and it is in good working condition now. I charged the battery and managed to setup the WiFi connection yesterday. Tonight, I will setup SIP so that Mee and I can use it to make internet calls. I am really happy now because I was afraid that it was not the LCD screen problem.

As I mentioned previously, Mee is hardworking. And today, she is working a longer shift and she will finish her work at the same time with me.

Regarding my broadband service, it is at the end of its 12 months contract. After this month, I will be paying the regular price of £20. I thought of switching but I could not find any better packages. Most of the broadband services incur a bandwidth limit monthly. One of my colleagues’ friend recommended Tiscali. However, the reviews were bad enough to put me off. Right now, I will just stick to my current broadband service provider, Virgin Media.
