As we touched down from the airport, I eagerly awaited to see my parent’s newly renovated house. However, we needed to have our dinner before that. The first impression when we were outside my parent’s house was very good. The stainless steel front door looks nice and great. And guess what, there are two new additional rooms fitted with air conds and wood flooring in addition to the existing three rooms. The idea of having the additional rooms and air conds is for us to have a nice and cosy sleep during the night and also to accommodate the additional family members that we have at the moment and in the future. After all, the best place to stay is still home.

The internet connection at home is real slow. It takes some 10 minutes for me to be able to type a post and post it into my blog. Well, what can I do because it is a 56kbps dial up modem connection. And that is the reason that I post very very less during this period in Malaysia. It has been a hectic schedule during Chinese New Year. We have been visiting relatives and vice versa from the first day of Chinese New Year. Today is only the third day of Chinese New Year and I have not visited any of my old friends yet. I need to plan soon.

Also, I need to go to Mee’s hometown which is some 5 hours drive away from my hometown. Then, Mee and I will do some serious shopping at Kuala Lumpur. Hehehe ….

Oh yeah, we had paid for Dragon Dance on the first day of Chinese New Year. Soon after the Dragon Dance, we went to our grandpa’s house and we got some ang pows. At night, we went to another relative’s house for supper. By that time, my nephew and my niece were asleep and they went home first.

It had been a stressful two days at Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. My sis, Mee and I went to Kuala Lumpur yesterday so that Mee can apply her visa to continue to live in UK. However, I must say that the drivers in Malaysia are very arrogant and bullish. They never signal when they are changing lane and they just change whenever they like. Neither are they courteous enough to give way to other vehicles lest alone pedestrians. Some do not even bother the traffic light when it turns to red. Well, I believe driving in Kuala Lumpur alone will certainly cost more stress to people who have never driven in Kuala Lumpur before and save some money on diet pills.

Hmm… I wonder what is taught by the driving instructors in Malaysia. Sometimes, I also wonder if I was driving like them before I came to UK but I am certain that I strictly followed the rules and regulations.
