Shoes reminded me of …
While I was in town today, there were sales in almost every individual store. Some stores were closed permanently due to effect of the current economy situation. One particular shop was selling outdoor shoes with brand names like Merrell. When I saw the range of shoes offered, I thought of the time when I participated in a caving activity during my college days. It was fun though tiring but it was a very nice experience. All the participants were divided into groups of 5 and coincidentally, Mee and I were in the same group. We hardly knew each other at that time and it was the caving activity that made us closer.
The discounted Merrell shoes were irresistible but on second thought, my priority is working shoes at the moment.

Busy at work
Phew… I have been quite busy today. And it is so hot that even my wisdom tooth starts bothering me now. In fact, my wisdom tooth had given me problems days ago. I thought that it had recovered but the whole situation seems to be far from over, sadly.
The last thing I was trying to do was to export some data to a web based system. It is not a very tedious process if the data was exported successfully. However, what I got back from the system were three files with an error message which should not be an error. After numerous tries of exporting and changing of data, I gave up and escalated the error to our supplier.
In the meantime, my manager was trying to figure out two phrases; franchise in and franchise out. Well, figuring out the two phrases proved to be quite a problem because not many people can really explain the phrases properly, not even the department manager. Hmm.. they should have made some notes while they were able to differentiate franchise in and franchise out!

New design …
Tada!! This is the latest design for my blog. Hmm… not as colourful as the previous one but I removed quite a lot of useless coding and plugins. As a result, it seems to load faster and compatible with Internet Explorer too. Guess what, I have included twitter as well.

Mee has been doing some gardening since the weather has been very nice. She seems to be very excited with the things she does in the backyard; removing the grasses, watering, planted some onions and potatoes and etc. Last Sunday, we went to town centre and bought some vegetable seeds and gardening gloves too. Now, we hope that we could see something in the next 2 weeks or so.

Diet again
Mee’s mother and sister are in US at the moment, living with her other sister and family until the end of the month. They would normally go there about once in two years. Before that, her mother has already been controlling her diet and I could not imagine that she does it while in US too. Hmm… it is good to eat healthily but I do not encourage the idea of starving or taking diet pills. Well, at least go through some diet pill reviews but not taking any diet pills blindly.
And now, Mee is thinking of restricting her diet again upon checking her weight last night. However, she still eats healthily as she always eats a lot of fruits after each meal.

Engine light illuminating again
Very soon, my car will be sent to a workshop. The engine light has illuminated again. I ran the code check myself through the dashboard and it was showing a code of P151 (or something like that). When I googgled for the code, it said something about the oxygen sensor indeed. Just like what I was told previously when I sent my car to the college’s workshop when the engine light first illuminated few months ago.
I believe that I will still send it to the college’s workshop since the charges will be lower but I wonder if they could finish the job in one day. No doubt, my car will be lifted up by hydraulic floor jack and I just hope that changing oxygen sensor will not be a tedious job.

Blog design dilemma …
I have not been actively posting for the last few weeks. Maybe I was lack of any writing material or I was just pure lazy. Well, undeniably, I am still working on My Ideas 4 You design. It is near complete but I am still reluctant to implement it partly because I am trying to make the latest design better than the current one. For the current design, I started everything from scratch. Flatpress comes with its own template but I am tempted to use my own design. As time goes, I understand more about how things work in Flatpress but not php commands.
Few posts back, I mentioned that the design was almost complete. However, I scrapped that design and moved on to Adobe Photoshop. I was kind of reluctant to learn new thing but I thought it was necessary to design a much more standard blog design. Sadly, I failed to follow and evolve. Now, I started another new design swiftly but I took the concept of developing blog template through Adobe Photoshop. Indeed, the time used on Adobe Photoshop was well spent and I learnt a lot. And that explains why I am able to start another new design in such a short time (just two days). I am very satisfied with the latest design compared to the previous ones as well as the current one. However, I am still not sure how manageable it is. Anyway, I am certain that I have managed to fulfil my ultimate idea which is to remove useless codings that flood the current blog design. As always, stay tuned!
