Not so good weather today. Yesterday, Mee and I had our second Step class. The instructor reckoned that it was easier than the first class we had but it was not. However, we still enjoyed it and there was a lady who told us to relax because it took her 6 months to familiarize Step. Today, we book ourselves into another class called Body Attack. This is supposed to be a fast pace exercise session. Well, I am always reluctant to learn new things but once I start it, I do not really care about it anymore. Still, Mee and I think we will enjoy Body Attack as much as we enjoy Step and Pilates.
In addition, I am also thinking of taking up swimming lessons. It is always good to learn something which I do not know and swimming is kind of good fun. The class will start at the end of June and that leaves me some time to think.

I was surprised when I logon to PayU2Blog just now as they have changed the logon page design. It certainly looks better than before. However, once inside, it is still the same and I do hope that they will improve on the loading of tasks which I find a little bit slow.

It has been a hectic day. I am doing some tasks regarding college’s preparation where the college may be closed due to unforeseen circumstances. There was a memo sent out this morning regarding the precautions that the college will take in the event of an outbreak of Swine Flu. It is quite scary as the total number of Swine Flu cases in UK is over 600 while it was about 100 cases a month ago. More schools were shut and I think that is the reason why this college is so concern.
It is kind of sad because we seem to have not learned from mistakes and a lot of people seem to be ignorant about the seriousness of swine flu. Most people still do not cover up when they sneeze or cough. There is nothing particular in Swine Flu symptoms and they are:
- Fever
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Body aches
- Chills
- Fatigue

Three weeks after Mee and I joined Aquadrome, we have only used the sauna three times at most and for the past two days, the spa pool was not working either. We were assured that the spa pool should be working today, hopefully. Well, that kind of routine that Mee and I have setup seems to be disrupted since only one of the three health suites’ facilities is available.
Surprisingly, it is a little bit harder to find the benefit of spa pool. I would have thought that spa is a little bit more popular than steam or sauna.

Mee and my routine at Aquadrome is quite the same every time. We will do either cardio or weight and one hour before Aquadrome closes, we will be utilizing the Health Suite. The Health Suite comes with the membership package and it includes a steam room, a sauna room and a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the sauna room has broken down for almost two weeks, just a few days after we joined.
On the other hand, Mee and I are quite curious about the benefit we get when utilizing the Health Suite. I googled for steam room benefits and here are some of the benefits.
- rejuvenating, deep cleansing – hydrating the skin
- boosting your immune system and promoting antibody production
- relieving the discomfort of asthma, allergies and arthritis
- enhancing the respiratory system
- helping eliminate toxins
- reducing stress and the appearance of wrinkles
- relaxing and soothing mind & body
- relieving stress & relaxing muscles
- relieving throat irritation by moistening the air
- relaxing muscles and relieving coughing
- increasing body metabolism
- relieving inflammation and congestion of upper respiratory mucous membranes
- loosening secretions and stimulating the discharge of mucous from the throat and lungs (natural expectorant)

I started another blog, All My Reviews with the hope of making My Ideas 4 You a more personal blog while any reviews that I have can be written specially for All My Reviews. I think that I did a good job now except that some of the reviews are not about the latest stuffs. Another problem is that I have not been updating it consistently and regularly which I think, is about to change, hopefully.
Still, all the reviews are my personally thought and I may or may not have used the product myself. Nevertheless, I have more knowledge on technology reviews rather than medical reviews such as colon cleanse reviews and the likes due to the fact that I always pursue latest technology while I only take vitamin supplements rather than botox.
Time is essential in making things successful. In the past, all I did is to go to work and then back to home. Now that Aquadrome is in our evening slot and I hardly have the time for blogging except for weekend. Since then, things have been slow for me and I could organise myself well enough. However, I am glad to say that I have put things in order and I have been doing great at work, blog and life too.

Towards the weekend, the weather is getting colder. It is not sunny at all today and it might rain according to the weather forecast. I better bring a jacket with me when Mee and I go to Aquadrome later. By the way, we will have our second pilates class today and we are really looking forward to it. My sister kept telling us about pilates before but we were not interested in it at all. But that is life; we never know what happens next.
Just this morning, we were awaken by our neighbour who turned up their tv set’s volume so loud that we could hear it clearly in our room. Well, that was around 0600. We could not understand why they would want to do that. Was their clock broken? Hence, we went up to them and asked nicely if they could turn the volume down. Funnily, she explained that they just had a new tv set and was trying to test it out. Come on, who wake up that early just to test the tv set?

In addition to my birthday post yesterday, Mee and I went to a fruits and vegetables farm to pick our own strawberries. There were only two of us as it was weekday. According to the owner, a lot of people rushed to pick strawberries during the weekend as they have just opened last Friday. As that was the case, there were not many strawberries to be picked.

We then asked to see the gooseberries and we were advised to come back a few weeks later as the current gooseberries season is only suitable for cooking.
At night, we went to Spruce Goose (Beefeater), a chargrill restaurant. We ordered two 3-course meals and we were quite full towards the dessert. Gladly, the food was nice and we were satisfied with the overall food and service.
