It is really rare that my blogs were left untouched for days. I have not been away from home but I am really busy at work. Partly because of the testing and troubleshooting of the latest system upgrade site wide. We encountered a few problems but fortunately, we were able to solve most of them ourselves as well as with the help of the IT support here. The latest system upgrade involved some installation of Windows software and apparently, the executables of our upgraded system do not work very well with computers which do not have the latest Windows software or updates. Luckily, all was not as bad as what we had imagined. Surprisingly, I have not had any coffee in the office since a week ago. How amazing?
Mee and I went to Portsmouth last Sunday. The weather was hot and sunny. We visited the BlueReef Aquarium thinking that it might be better than the London Aquarium as the brochure looked very much like an underwater experience. However, we were both disappointed in the end. It was small and nothing much to see. We then went to the car boot sales nearby. It was a huge site and we spent more than an hour there. Mee reckoned that we would be bored if there were no car boot sales that day. I have become darker and darker. I wonder if my skin will become whiter if I stop exposing my skin under the sun.
I have an urge to tidy up our room this weekend. But that will include sacrificing my movie time. I am quite reluctant but it will be really good to tidy up our room. Till then, I need to do some planning on how to sort out our room. Not really sure whether I could squeeze some place out of our room??!!!

At 1500, I will have my performance development review discussion with my manager. This is my first performance development review in this company and the previous three reviews that I had done were probation reviews. Excited, no but just hope that it will be a good one and more importantly, the company and my department manager will have better understanding regarding my expanding job role. On the other hand, we are busy in getting the upgrading of our server job done. As always, a busy August.
Attached is a picture of an egg. Well, guess what it is? It is a pepper grinder and Mee bought it a few weeks ago. Cute, isn’t it?

Of all the classes at Aquadrome that Mee and I attended are supposed to be acting as fat burners and fun to those who attended. However, we are not enjoying as much as we had at the moment. Some of the classes were cancelled while some classes have a change in instructor. Replacement instructors have made us realised how good our original instructors were. Now, we just hope that our instructors have a great holiday and will be back with us as soon as possible.
Yesterday, the Step class was cancelled but I still went to Aquadrome to do weight lifting exercise. The weather was great but surprisingly, there were lots of people in the gym. Often, there were a few people taking turns in order to use one of the machines.
In a few days time, I shall publish some photos taken at the Mudeford beach as well as the Marwell Zoological Park. I have yet to copy them into my computer though.

Mee and my routine has always been the same. We spend most of our evenings at Aquadrome for classes as well as weight lifting. I have gained about one stone partly because PhD Synergy ISO-7 is part of my diet supplements. I took Progain previously but I did not seem to gain any weight until my instructor recommended PhD to me. I am now on my second tub of strawberry cheesecake flavoured PhD. I am still trying to get use to the flavour as I had chocolate orange flavour previously.
The weather yesterday was nice. Hence, we decided to go to the Marwell Zoological Park. It was about 40 minutes away and as it was Sunday, there were lots of people. It was quite a nice experience and it took us half a day to tour the whole park. When we got home, Mee reckoned that I have sunburn on my neck and arms. I thought that I just look darker. Anyway, it was a nice day out and we had steamboat for dinner. Mee and I was so full and I gained around 1-2 kg at that point of time.

Busy days ahead. I have applied for two days off next week but because of the absence of a supplier who was supposed to do a software demo today; I have to cancel one of the two days off. Well, all the blames on the supplier and he did not even bother to inform me earlier. Anyway, we might not purchase the software from him because approvals from various departments will just take time and we are in urgent need of similar software. Otherwise, we will just revert back to the old ways of doing things for this year.
Mee and I did our weight test just last week. My weight is just about right now and I am no longer in the underweight category. Still, I would like to increase 5 to 10 kg ideally. Mee, on the other hand, still moan about her weight. Well, she has the ideal BMI and everything just looks perfect for her. In my opinion, she looks firmer and healthier now. All she should do now is to abandon the thought of getting lighter but maintaining the weight. Thankfully, the health suite was in full working condition for the last two weeks.

Another week passed. For the past four days, I have online for not more than 2 hours in total. I am not sure why but I was just lack of the interest to browse or even blogging. Hopefully, I will be able to recompose myself soon enough. In addition, my web host was in a mess for the last few days, causing both of my blogs to not loading normally.
I have just logged on to my broadband web account and on top of the page, it stated that my home broadband size was still M but the speed was 10MB. I wonder how true it was and I shall be checking it out when I got home. It will be interesting if it is 10MB.
On Sunday, Mee and I went to Mudeford, Christchurch. It is a nice beach and charming fishing village located about 1 hour away from where we live and 10 minutes away from Bournemouth. It was a lovely day and we were glad that we arrived early in the morning, as there were still plenty of parking spaces. Upon arriving there, dozens of people were crab fishing. There was a small island opposite Mudeford Quay called Sandbank and there was a ferry service operating around every 12 minutes, charging £1.20 for adult and 60 pence for children. As it was Sunday, the queue was long with most people bringing their dogs and beach equipment.
It only took 5 minutes to reach Sandbank. Along the Sandbank, there were beach huts available for rent. I did a search on the internet and the beach huts cost from £200 a week and they are without electricity and water inside the hut. The nearer the beach huts to the public toilet, the rental will be more expensive. No doubt Sandbank is a very nice and relaxing place. I told Mee that I can be there for days without computers or games.
Back at the Mudeford Quay, more people arrived and the parking spaces were full. It was bright and sunny and more people were crab fishing. We walked to the other side of Mudeford Quay and there was another beach called Avon beach. It was a stony beach but the beach was crowded with people sun bathing as well as BBQ-ing. Just beside the beach, there were more vacation houses available for rent. Those vacation houses were better equipped and nevertheless, higher rentals.
Overall, it was a nice experience at Mudeford, Christchurch and Mee and I might be going there next weekend again.
