What a day! The weather is good and I just had my gym session. For the first time, everything was working, especially the health suite. All three services, the steam, the sauna and the spa were in good working condition. On my way home, there was a car with a puncture tyre and almost drove into a set of truck grilles by the side of the road. I wonder if he actually realised that his car got a puncture tyre.

By the way, my spinning shoes arrived on Thursday. However, I realised that I did not have Allen key to fix the cleats on my spinning shoes. Immediately, Mee thought of our landlord and he was very happy to lend it to me for a few days. So, on Thursday, I cycled without the cleats but today, I got the cleats on and it felt great. My feet no longer hurt.

I was just handed with an urgent task. Well, new principal, new type of working method. Anyway, I do like this type of task, as I will be able to discuss with suppliers and negotiating prices except that I have to wait for responses from the suppliers. At the same time, I am actively involved in survey website these days. I am not sure whether I will gain anything from these websites but a lot of people have joined and most of them have got vouchers and rewards on and off. Some of the previous surveys which promised that a Grohe faucet will be delivered once I completed the survey did not seem to realise.

Well, I just hate those websites which make empty promises yet they try to distribute your email addresses to various marketing companies. As a result, you get more and more spams in your mailbox.

I worked until 2000 last night and I had to skip the Step class. There were about 10 people attended the class and Mee was one of them. Since I worked until 2000, Mee had to walk to Aquadrome alone but luckily, the weather was good. My spinning shoes have not arrived yet and I believe that there is nothing the seller can do since the shoes have been posted. Hopefully, the shoes will arrive tomorrow, just in time for tomorrow’s spinning class.

As usual, I am busy with my workload. There are software needs to be installed, computers to test and I have to also handle ad-hoc requests from various users. Even though our system has just been upgraded, another new version was released days ago. I have to then go through the documentation and check if we should upgrade it as soon as possible or otherwise.

It has been a long time since I last used my Samsung NC10 netbook. Today, it took nearly 10 minutes before I could use it to type my blog. Well, it was not something wrong with the netbook. It was just because of all the updates of software and Windows as well as the antivirus. The netbook itself is not very good at multitasking, therefore, it would be wise to wait until all the updates were done before I start to do my own task.

It has been a few years since the first netbook was introduced. I am still very pleased with Samsung NC10 performance and I am quite surprised that newer netbooks are still equipped with Intel Atom N270 or the latest Intel Atom N280. In the world of Core 2 Duo machines, I would have thought that Intel would probably start to produce a version of Intel Atom Core 2 Duo or something similar. Needless to say, the cost would be higher but I am sure that computer users would fork out that sort of money to get the best performance. Some people might say that netbooks will not be netbooks if it is a powerful Core 2 Duo machine. But with the same characteristic of 10” screen, DVD-ROM-less, I consider it a netbook even with a powerful processor.

I had my first spinning class because the instructor was trying to fill up a half full class. It was Saturday and Mee was working while I worked out at the gym. I was half way through my weight training session when the instructor spotted me in the gym and asked if I would like to join the spinning class. She was also the pilates instructor. I agreed and never thought that spinning class required that much energy. I told Mee about it and found out that there is also a Thursday spinning class. Since then, Mee and I have always gone to the Thursday spinning class while I still continue the Saturday spinning class. Well, that is two class per week for me then. Few classes later, I felt pain on my right foot and consulted the instructor. She said that I should get a pair mountain bike shoes.

I first went to a bike store recommended by the instructor. First impression, all the shoes were dark in color and quite heavy. So, Mee suggested that I search online and I did. From there on, I learned that there are so much to learn about biking. Just few days ago, I found a reasonably priced mountain bike shoes and I ordered it last Friday. I cannot wait for it to arrive and use the shoes on Thursday.

The college is crowded with students enrolling their courses for this academic year. All the staffs are here to guide the students and if I were to come to the office later than usual, I would have difficulty finding a parking space. The weather is unpredictable these days and I would not want to park my car across the road. In addition, the designated smoking area in the college is also crowded with students as well as staffs. The weather is windy and it rains once a while throughout the day but still, we could still see people smoking at the designated smoking area. In some occasions, I could see that there were staffs smoking Padron. How rich they are?
