Back at home again. It was a fun and pleasant trip to Barcelona though we experienced some unpleasant things the first day and the last day. Well, Mee and I had a difficult time searching for the Luton Airpark because our TomTom Navigator was not able to guide us to the Luton Airpark correctly. The junction that the TomTom requesting us to turn did not even exist and the people in a nearby town were unable to tell us the exact location of Luton Airpark. In the end, we had to stop at the side of the road and ask a worker who was repairing the road. We still manage to get to the airport on time. It was kind of funny the way the worker described the roundabout. He referred the roundabout as an island.
I guess that we will have to update our TomTom. The update will be as easy as plugging in the TomTom to the computer using USB cable and purchase the updated map to upload onto the TomTom. I wonder how other people would have to do to update their in-car gps. Do they have to update it through the dealer? That would be expensive, wouldn’t it?

Tomorrow, Mee and I will be heading to Barcelona, Spain. The moment we have been waiting for quite some time. We have constantly checked the weather forecast and the weather at Barcelona is good, if not great. We booked a sightseeing tour the next day and we will see how it goes. I have practically marked out most of the places that are worth visiting and we are not likely to miss anything.
Next destination? We have not thought about it yet. My colleagues have been talking about great florida hotel deals but United States is a bit out of question for me at the moment since I do not have a visa. And to get a visa, I will have to apply it from Malaysia. Well, we will see then.
I have just finished watching Britain’s Really Disgusting Food: Fish. Previously, I have watched the other series of Britain’s Really Disgusting Food which was about Dairy. It is really a good effort that the presenter tries to tell the consumers about the hidden ingredients in our food and how we can make the most of it. Sadly, I do not really think that it is going to be the talk of the town. Anyway, talking about fish, I used to love eating fish fingers but it turns out that most fish fingers are made out of fish belly fat as well as other worthless fish parts. After watching the show, I am a bit more cautious now and I will almost certainly read the labels of most of the food that I will be purchasing.

All my mailboxes are bombarded with Christmas sales, Black Friday thanksgiving deals and holiday packages. Amazon is getting quite competitive now since it has offered free delivery on all items. However, I still prefer Play.com because the delivery is much faster and I never have to pay for the item to be delivered. Apart from that, those holiday packages information are sent by Expedia, Last Minute and Tripadvisor since Mee and I booked our Barcelona trip a few weeks ago. We believe that the weather will be good judging by this week’s weather and we are looking forward to enjoying four happy days!
I have successfully flashed a cooked ROM on my Samsung Omnia. It is running on Windows Mobile Professional 6.5 and I am really impressed with the way it works compared to the official ROM. The official ROM is not as fast and sensitive as the cooked ROM but at least, all the functions work. On the cooked ROM, not everything works and as you use it, you will find that it is less stable. Do not get me wrong, as my comments are not to say that cooked ROM is bad. Overall, I still prefer the cooked ROM and I doubt that I will ever change it back to the official ROM.
So far so good, the GPS and GPRS are both working but I have not tried the WiFi connection yet. I am quite certain that it will work. One thing that troubles me is the camera. The ROM loads the camera about nine times out of ten. Whenever it does not work, I have to either soft reset it or just leave it alone and it will work later on. I am also trying to find a live chat programme and I believe that Fring will be the first one to try. As long as the WiFi connection works, Fring should work. Well, the list of the good things with cooked ROM just goes on and on. I might do a post on All My Reviews since I have somehow made it redundant for two months now.

Just days after cleaning up my Samsung Omnia, I am now thinking of formatting it again. But this time, I will be flashing cooked ROM instead of using official Samsung Omnia ROM. Cooked ROM is a customised ROM where it claims to free up the space taken by some useless programs. One of the reasons of using cooked ROM is that I would like to test the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 since Samsung Omnia’s Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional is not upgradeable. I hope that I will not be disappointed after the flashing my Omnia to a cooked ROM as it seems to be a bit difficult to flash back to official ROM. Anyway, I have the choice to use some other Windows Mobile 6.1 cooked ROM which have proved to be stable.

My weight gaining plan has been going on for five months and I have to say that I am quite please with the results. A few more kilograms and I will have to stop, as that will be my ideal weight even though I am already in the ideal BMI now. However, everything comes with a price. Some of my working shirts and trousers have become very tight. I need to start shopping for new shirts and trousers. My T-shirts still fit since they are stretchable but some of them look small when I wear them. Anyway, I am still hoping to achieve my target weight and from that point onwards, I can concentrate on my training and relax on my eating.
