I have been busy developing the college internal website. It is due to be launched anytime next week. Well, that will be before my long holiday and I wonder if there will be any problem when I am not here. My manager is not too concern about my absent because developing the internal website is not solely our responsible. But we do hope that we will be able to impress the users as well as making things easier for users who regularly use the current internal website. I have gone to the extend of using server scripting, which I have absolutely no understanding from the start. I just hope that the launch will be smooth and successful though I would expect that my phone will ring more frequent than usual.
Couple of weeks back, Mee cooked some Char Siew (Chinese flavoured barbecued pork). That was her latest creation and it tasted really good. Of course, it was different from the Char Siew that we normally eat because of the cooking method and the amount of oil which can be found in traditional Char Siew but overall, it had its own fresh and unique flavour.

Cloudy day. Two more weeks, Mee and I will be on our holiday. It will be a busy holiday again; tons of things to do and tons of places to see but less things to worry about. UK seems to start encouraging the nation to go on holiday again. There are more and more advertisements about fantastic travel packages in the flow. My credit card bill arrived on Saturday and there was a booklet in it regarding the savings that I could get by booking a holiday before the end of February with a specific travel agency. Among the travel packages are Orlando Disney vacation packages, New York City packages and not to forget the nation’s favourite cruise packages. I thought they should be encouraging travellers to visit places in UK rather than out of UK?

In the past, I thought that I would pursue a master degree. I guess, it is easier said than done. While I was working in Malaysia, I requested brochures from an online university regarding MBA and that was because I have a degree in business and information technology. The pricing somehow put me off and busy was also one of the excuses. I would have thought the price could be relatively cheaper than attending university itself but clearly I was wrong.
Western Governors University is one of the renowned online universities which offer online bachelors and master’s degree programs. This is a non-profit online university and the price certainly looks attractive. You may ask; what is an online degree program and will I be scammed? Western Governors University is a fully accredited online university and by browsing its website, you will find whole lot of information. If they are not enough for you, you can always request for more information or call them up. I might start to think about online MBA now.

If you read my blog regularly, you would have known by now that I always talk about my weight. I used to be skinny and I am glad that I am able to describe myself as skinny in past tense. Since I am on the healthy BMI range now, I definitely feel a huge difference. I feel more confidence but on the other hand, I find my body to be warmer than before. On normal days of around 7 to 10 degrees, I would feel warm if I stay indoor. If the heating is switched on, I would feel hot. My skin feels a lot dryer compared to before. I know it usually gets dry during cold weather but I did not have too much of that problem when I was skinny.
I have more lines on my face now and hopefully, I do not have to resort to finding the best wrinkle cream. By the way, I am not that old though and at the moment, Garnier Eye Roll On seems to do the job.
Furthermore, 70% of my clothing is too small for me now and I have to revamp my collection of clothing. That caused some serious headache for Mee.

I have not been posting Mee’s food experiments for quite sometime. It is not that she has been lazy and not doing any cooking. In fact, I am the one who is lazy posting. This post contains Mee’s very own bread. I reckon that a few more experiments, Mee will be an expert in baking bread.

It was wet and snowing yesterday but now, it is scorching. Some students even wear sleeveless shirt. Whenever the weather gets cold, my skin tends to become very dry. So, I have started using body lotion since last December. I have also been using Garnier Eye Roll On which claims to be effective on dark circles and eye puffiness. There are some improvements although not significant. Once a while, I would buy face wrinkle cream too if they are on offer. I guess it should not really matter whether or not the products have anti-wrinkle effects.
From next week onwards, I will have to work overtime every Monday. Therefore, Mee will have to go to the gym alone on Monday for the body attack class. Unfortunately, it goes on to June but my manager may be covering sometimes or both of us might have work overtime. Anyway, time will tell.
