We reached Malaysia on the 9th of February 2010. As usual, it was hot and the flight journey was not very pleasant. The seat was kind of tight while the in-plane entertainment was not very good either. Occasionally, we had to wait for more than 15 minutes for the in-plane entertainment program to reboot and reinstall. It was even more frustrating because the pilot and the co-pilot kept making announcement which caused the in-plane entertainment to pause in order to make the passengers to listen to the announcement. Anyway, I hope that the journey back to UK will be a better one.

My appetite has been affected by the hot weather. However, I still try to eat a lot in order to maintain my weight or maybe increase my weight. I have also been using some acne remedy after I had a facial wash session to prevent any breakouts. So far, I have a few small breakouts but I still reckon that the acne remedy works well for me.

Yep, we are going home tonight. Mee and I have been busy packing for the last two days. All is well, we weighted the luggage, and they were at the correct weight. I am still at work but I will leave at 1400. Bad news is that it is sleeting right now. Fingers crossed and it should not affect our journey. Hmm… it will be nice to be at Malaysia, a relaxing holiday, hehe…. I just hope it will not be too hectic for us.

Mee and I also went to the town yesterday to see. The sales were almost over and the town was not as crowded as before. Weird enough, the game stores were still having promotions on xbox, playstation and Nintendo Wii. Hmm… I will have to go and hand over some stuffs to my manager now.

Few more days and Mee and I will be going back to Malaysia for a long vacation. Time flies as always. There are lots of things happening recently. My car was finally fixed yesterday. It failed the MOT because of the exhaust system but luckily, it was nothing too serious. Too bad that the workshop that did my car’s first MOT and full service did not have the facility to check the problem with the exhaust. Still, I am relief that it was fixed yesterday. Now, I will have to worry about the road tax which I am about to pay this Saturday.

There are also a few things happening related to my job. The internal website is up and running now and our team has received a lot of good feedback and we are about to take things one step further. In other words, I will be very busy when I come back from Malaysia. My job title might change as well considering that my current job responsibility is totally unrelated to my job title. We also have a few meetings with our principal and everything is fine and well. By the way, everyone is very supportive even though there are still a lot of works needed to be done.

What do you think of iPad? Mee thought that it looks bad and weird. I thought iPad is great and I wonder what kind of price will be set in UK. In US, it costs $499 which is considered affordable in UK. I would have traded in my netbook for iPad if the price is right. But fat hope I think. Like many Apple products, iPad does not come with too many accessories. If you own an iPhone, you would normally need to buy additional iphone accessories because the accessories that comes together with the iPhone itself is just not enough. Still, their products are always high on demand.

The website that I developed was launched today. There were a few phone calls but I was not in the office yet. Hopefully, nothing serious. I was originally worried because the scripts were not tested with multiple access. We will see at the end of the day.

I was late today because I sent my car for full service and MOT. He asked if there were known problems and I told him the truth; a bit of sound here and there. Well, I just want my car to be reliable and serve me at least five to ten more years. So, anything that should be changed must be changed. But still, I hope that I will not end up with a huge bill at the end of the service. If you remember, I posted about RV a couple of weeks back. I wonder how much it will cost to do a rv repair compare to a saloon car like mine. Luckily, I am not so into RV or caravan thingy.
