I have just watched August Rush. Quite a nice movie and definitely worth a watch. The story is simple yet touching. I believe that most people will cry towards the end of the movie. Well, I do not mean like crying out loud but the kind of touchy feeling that makes the eyes watery. But it was a good ending and I am glad I watched it today. For the past weeks, I saw the title but I just left it alone and watched other films. Today, I told myself that I am going to choose whichever film that I will see at first sight, and August Rush it is. Good choice!

Once a while I watched the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010 on the tv. I am not really interested in flowers but I do know that Malaysia has won some kind of gold medal in the show. In fact, Malaysia has spent almost RM2 million in decoration and displaying the kind of flowers that you can see in Malaysia. I doubt that could get Rafflesia on the show, hehe… Rafflesia is the biggest flower in the world and it is hardly seen as it dies after flowering. The largest Rafflesia may grow over 100cm in diameter and weight up to 10 kilograms according to Wikipedia. Head over to Wikipedia to know more about the world largest flower. Well, back to this RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010. I have yet to see Malaysia but I might have missed it. Some of the decorations showed a clever uv pond filter design as well as amazing landscape of trees and plants. Looking at the weather, it must be a nice place to be in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010.

The college has been quite busy lately. Especially with the MIS team as well as the IT team. In the college, MIS and IT are two separate team with different job function. MIS in charge of information while IT is in charge of infrastructure. As the IT team is outsourced, and they have some changes in the IT team contract, the principal is looking forward to improving the IT infrastructure. Overhaul might be the right word. Sadly, we have not managed to move to a new site which was planned almost a year ago. Newly build metal buildings are always going to be better than old school like compound area. Since the new site was history, we will just have to focus on our current available resources and how we can make full use of it.

Well, tomorrow is the last working day of May. In terms of the web system which I have developed, I believe that it is available for trial. I have not tested it intensively but I guess that I shall leave it to the people who are going to do the trial. Fingers crossed that there should not be any major issue. After all, this is the first time I have created a web system which will eventually be used college wide, if successful. But I do not think they have many options because I have created it based on what they have requested.

Today is not too bad. It is hot but not as hot as yesterday. The hot weather yesterday was giving me a real headache. When I reached home, I just wanted to go out again. Indeed, Mee and I went to Tesco; Mee had the opportunity to shop while I took advantage of the air conditioning and the time to cool off myself. Still, when we reached home, the house was not pleasant to stay. I wonder if I should go to the gym today. It might be real hot inside with all the sweaty smell and sticky feeling.

Not having enough of sleep is really causing a lot of health problem. Last week, I practically slept at 0300 every day and by the end of the week, my face is full of acne. Real big ones. Start from this week, I will try to sleep early and yesterday was a good start. I slept at 0100. You might ask; what was I doing? Three things to sum it up; games, tv and internet.

I received a lot of comments on my blogs and I really appreciate people who have taken the initiative to leave valuable comments. However, most comments were left without given much thought. I believe that they simply want to advertise or create valuable links for their website. Please do not leave irrelevant comments. I monitor all comments and I will delete the inappropriate ones.

Every Wednesday, there is a free newspaper that gets distributed around the area where Mee and I live. It is called the Extra. More often than not, it will come with tons of leaflets; pizzas, restaurants, tesco, morrisons, matalan and the likes. This week, the leaflet that actually caught my attention was matalan. It was having some kind of promotions with baby clothes start from £1 and adult clothes start from £4. How cheap is that? Matalan is like Primark, selling clothes at low prices. Their quality is not too bad but you might find everyone is wearing them the moment you start wearing the clothes that you buy from them. Well, I bought a normal jacket from Primark a few years back and I am still wearing it now. It has no brand printed on it and it is just a plain dark blue jacket. I love wearing it because the thickness is just about right for me. I always tell Mee that cheap things are not normally good. But sometimes, or once in a while, they are a bargain.

No joke! This is the weather right now. In fact, this is the weather throughout today. I washed my car today and whenever the water was poured on the car, it evaporated into the air. It is always tough to wash car under the sun especially when I have to several trips in and out of the house to get water. How easy it would be for me to wash my car if there was a tap outside the house. I only have two pails and by the time I carried one pail out of the house, the car was dried already. Therefore, I had to wash parts by parts. Tough, tough, tough and not a very good experience.

Mee is very hardworking today. She works from 1000 till 2100 and because of that, she had instructed me to run some errands. The shops open at 1100 on Sunday but by 1030, it was full of people. They must be enjoying the weather today and I just could not wait to finish my shopping and go back home. There were just too many people and every few steps, there will be someone in front of you, either smoking or walking very slowly.
