New things

My parents have added a few newcomers since I came back last year; a car, a huge TV, a monitor, digital recorders, a new table and a couple of chairs. Yes, a brand new car. The first time I drove a new car was my brother’s car. I didn’t feel that stress as I was only driving on a motorway. This time, I drove my dad’s car to a shopping mall and park the car in the shopping mall’s car park. It was quite stress for me and Mee and I were trying to find a shaded parking space as well as a space that not many cars will go through. At the end of the day, I think I am quite used to it now though I feel even stress when my father is in the car with me driving. However, I am most impressed with the TV and imagine watching movies or playing games on it. That will be my first target when I own a house myself.

Wisdom tooth removed!

Yesterday, I brought Mee to the nearest shopping mall for a facial treatment. Her skin is quite sensitive and due to the food that we ate during our trip as well as late night sleep, her face developed some redness around the forehead area. The whole treatment took about three hours which I thought was quite long but she liked the way they did the treatment. During the course of her treatment, I asked the manager about hhow to get rid of pimples fast and she said that there are no easy ways. One has to do treatment consistently as well as eat healthily.

Today, I had my wisdom tooth removed. It was a small operation and it took about 45 minutes. Imagine that I had to have my mouth opened most of the time. Mind you, I still have another wisdom tooth waiting to be removed and just before the dentist did the operation, she told me it is advisable to remove the tooth on top of the wisdom tooth next time. Anyway, I am glad that the wisdom tooth that caused the most problem previously has been removed!

Trip finished!

Mee and I arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport last Friday and since then, we have been staying at my hometown. It also means that our Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan trip has come to an end. We have been in and out of three airports for the past 15 days and Hong Kong International Airport is what I considered the most convenient one. It has hassle free WiFi connection and the custom officer was very friendly and efficient. The shops sell all kind of stuffs from food to electronics to even nurses uniform and comic-like display items. However, they don’t come cheap. Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport is old though it is under renovation. There are only two ways of getting to Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport which are by bus or taxi. We had a hard time trying to catch a bus to Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport as the bus station is not located conveniently. Luckily, we met a very kind lady who showed us all the way to the bus station. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip but overall, we loved Taiwan the most, food particularly.

Third day

We reached Malaysia as scheduled three days ago. My bro came to the airport to help carry my luggage while Mee and I took a bus to her hometown after that. I had to trouble my bro to pick up my luggage because when we are back from our Hong Kong and Taipei trip, I will be going back to my hometown instead of Mee’s. Hence, I like to be able to have access to my luggage rather than leaving my luggage at Mee’s home. When we arrived at the airport, we shopped for cigarettes and tobaccos. Both of us don’t smoke and they are for Mee’s father as those items would be tax free. While we are in the tobacco shop, I found out that they sold vaping forum as well which is a kind of device that help smokers to quite. Well, it’s kind of weird that they actually sold devices that help smokers quite together with cigarettes. Anyway, I am not interested in smoking.

My MacBook Air has arrived at Kuala Lumpur. I doubt that it will reach Mee’s hometown on time for me to take it to travel with us. I just have to be patient and see it in couple of weeks’ time.

It’s the time !!!

At last, I finished most of the packings. I don’t think both of the big luggage are going to be overweight. I tried to weight them just now using the normal scale and both luggage were around 18 – 19 kilograms. Of course, after I weight them, I packed more stuffs in. Mee has a habit of trying out each outfit and even hats before deciding whether or not they are going into the luggage. Luckily, she hasn’t got those stetson hats, in which case, I will have to find more space in the luggage. In terms of packing, I felt a bit relax this time compared to my previous trips. Most of the things fit quite nicely. I am still staying up a bit late because I am thinking hard in the hope that I won’t forget something important. I believe most people have this kind of dilemma where you wouldn’t want to be in a position of forgetting something. Anyway, the most important thing, tickets and passports are in the safe place.

On the other hand, my sister is back. She has been in Malaysia for weeks. Time flies and now, it’s Mee and my turn. I reckon that it will still be as hectic as ever. The most important thing is to have my wisdom tooth removed. Well, actually, I have a lot of important things. I am still hoping that my MacBook Air will be delivered on time. The status at the moment is Prepared for Shipment. Fingers crossed!

Online

During my college years, online learning was already quite popular. I am not sure about the progress of online learning but to my knowledge, it has not progressed a lot. True to say, the variety of programmes offered based on online learning have been expanded and now, you could even enrol on a massage therapy program online. I guess even though they are called online learning, learners will still have to do some practical once a while. I remember that I enquired a Master online learning course from a local university. To my surprise, the fees compare to a normal Master course were not much different.

Anyway, when I was studying not many of us have computers let alone internet connection. Even if we have internet connection at home, it would just be dial up. The cost of broadband was high and it was considered as luxury. Nowadays, even my mobile phone internet broadband is a lot faster than dial up. I am in the process of searching for the best mobile broadband deal to use when I am in Malaysia and all the packages are a lot cheaper than a year ago.
