I was searching for Mee’s iPhone casing online the other day. I found out that there were lots of products, which were of the same quality, but they were all selling at different prices by different sellers. Most of Amazon products could be seen selling in eBay under different brand and usually cheaper. Well, most of the top rated sellers with buyer protection offer free shipping and sometimes, I don’t see why I should buy products offered in Amazon. For example, I was looking at a sensa iPhone leather pouch and Amazon priced it at over £30. I knew that it was genuine leather because I have read sensa reviews but it was selling at less than £20 at eBay. With eBay buyer protection, I could simply refund the item if I found it not to be made of leather. I have had problems with Amazon products as well as delivery and therefore, I would not say that Amazon’s products are of better quality than eBay. From now on, I will be checking both eBay and Amazon as the different in prices are sometimes quite appalling for the same products.

A lot of people are still talking about job loss as well as complaining about not enough jobs in the market. I wonder if that’s true as I keep getting tons of emails regarding new jobs being posted online. It ranges from construction jobs administrators to IT and higher managerial posts. The truth is, nobody really knows. It may be that most jobseekers just think highly on themselves that they won’t settle for certain amount of money. But why can’t they think about getting some experience first as there will always be a chance in the future. Having a job is rather than having nothing at all. Maybe some people just love having to do nothing at all times. Well, I do love to do nothing at all but after sometime, I get bored. I love watching movies but if I were to watch movies day and night, I don’t think I will be able to stand it.

My blog activity has been slow. By that, I mean I am not as active as when I first started the blog. I remember that I used to post several posts a day and it could be about anything and any length. I feel like I am a bit lost right now. Hmm…. Where can I find that thrive again? Honestly, I spend more time at home nowadays where as Mee and I used to go to the gym at least five days a week. The classes’ timetable is frequently changed and they fail to make it more exciting each time.

Having said all that, I am as busy as ever if not busier. I started Hubpages about the same time I started this blog. I have had several articles in there but I was a passive hubbers. I only published articles but not making an effort in getting to know other hubbers or leaving comments on good articles. But now, I am back to Hubpages again. I am more active than ever and I try to write as many articles as possible.

I always like to write, which is why I start blogging. However, English is not my first language and the barrier is always there. But still, I just write and on and off, I would revise my articles on Hubpages to see if I can improve them or spot any spelling mistakes. I don’t imagine myself writing a book or anything like it. I just write as you go!

I guess what I am trying to say is that even though I have not updated my blog as regular as possible; I am still quite active writing.

When I first started working, I thought most of the companies have cubicles and every staff has their own cabinets, workspace as well as computer and stationery. My first two jobs kind of proved me wrong. As I moved on from company to company, I have my very own space eventually. And soon, personality assessment test becomes more and more popular. It is said to be able to improve the mentality of staffs, as it is part of team building and training. However, I don’t think many companies do this, as it can be quite expensive. Team building can normally take from a few hours to a few days depending on the type of packages. I have never been to any team building session. I did attend a talk about stress once but I am not sure whether or not it was about team building. The presenter taught us how to handle stress as well as going through a series of personality assessment tests. It was really good but at the end of the day, some of the things will only work in a perfect world.

Some management teams have that kind of mentality where they just want their employees to work and work each and every day. They never realise that creating a relax and stress free environment could actually improve the work rate. But what can I say, management teams are normally self-centred and thought that their ideas are the best interest for the company. Who knows, my personality might change when I am becomes one of them.

I have been searching for good document management software for my HTC Desire for sometime already. So far, I have not found one yet. The best one, in my opinion, at the moment is Office Suite Pro. It allows user to manage Word document, Excel Spreadsheet as well as Powerpoint presentation. I thought it will be a nice addition to have Access Database even though I am not sure how quickly I can do things with it compared to using Microsoft Access on a computer or laptop. The latest Microsoft Office extension is also supported as well.

Still, document management software on the go is still not good enough to replace a computer or a laptop. It is not because they are not good, it’s just difficult to sometimes work on a small screen. I always use to envisage a day where there’s an all in one machine. Those were the days where a mobile phone was purely used to make phone calls and text messages. Nowadays, a lot has changed and smartphones are able to replace most of the basic computing stuffs though not al. The latest Motorola Atrix may not be perfect but it is certainly a great idea. It is a smartphone but it can also power an Atrix laptop. The Atrix laptop will not work on its own and solely relies on Motorola Atrix smartphone. Hence, Motorola is able to make Atrix laptop as light as possible and definitely lighter than a normal laptop. It is certainly one of the gadgets to watch this year, though not forgetting the rumoured iPhone 5.

It’s finally fixed. The technician actually came about ten minutes to seven. At about 630pm, Mee called Virgin Media to ask if the technician is still coming. We were wondering what time the technician would come if Mee never made the call. In the past, I usually received a text message with options to either continue with the appointment or cancel the appointment. However, I never received it this time. We don’t even know why every time there’s a fault; the technician has to come into our house. Why can’t they just check the cable box in the area before making the assumption that the problem comes from the customer? I think if this kind of things happen again, I need to be clever a bit to force them to check the area’s cable box before assuming that my devices are at fault. I might even bring up this matter to them. Anyway, I just don’t wish to contact them again which will mean error free connections and that’s almost impossible.
