I have just been into Facebook. It’s been quite a while since I last browsed through my friends’ pictures. The fact is, there is so many information that gets updated these days and if I haven’t been in Facebook for a day, I will be lost in the sea of news feed. Hence, I just take it easy and only login whenever I feel like it and browse anything which appears on my news feed. Anyway, I just saw some incredible candy apples pictures post by one of my Facebook friends. They look incredibly delicious and unique. I wonder if the pictures were taken in a shop or they were actually made by my friend. Some of her friends have already made some comments but she still hasn’t replied yet. I can’t wait to find out.

Talking about my approach on Facebook, I find that Flipboard really helps a lot. Flipboard is an iOS app that displays feeds from any sources like Facebook, twitter and RSS feeds. I just entered my Facebook account, Flipboard will then display my Facebook’s news feed like a newspaper format. I can then flip through from the latest posts to the last posts that Flipboard allows. Using Flipboard, I can still make comments, likes as well as create new posts. Thanks to the app integration, I can view Youtube videos effortlessly and zoom pictures by pinching the screen. I used to like Pulse but Flipboard just take the feeds reading to a whole new level.

I watched a thriller, Prom Night, a few days ago. I watched it before but it was a few years back. Well, I am quite a movie fan and I don’t mind watching a movie twice or more unless I could still remember the storyline. It’s not particularly a great movie but it reminded me of the prom that I attended when I was a college student. In fact, I was one of the committee who organized the prom night and I was in charge of the ticketing. I don’t really remember much of it except that it was the night that I approached Mee as my girlfriend. I also had friends who dressed ridiculously. When some of the photos were developed, some of them looked horrible in the photos compared to the real person on scene. Bear in mind that it was 10 years ago and digital cameras are not yet popular and very expensive. Hence, we could only take the photos first and hope for the best later.

Looking at 2012 prom dresses now, they are so much different. Honestly, there were so much things to do to prepare for the prom. If I wasn’t the committee member, I wouldn’t have attended the prom. That prom was organized during my third year in college. For the past two years, I only watched people getting excited about it and it’s not really cheap considering that I was still relying on my parents. However, having attended the prom, I believe that anyone should attends it at least once when given the chance.

For last few years, I would be wearing two jackets, a shirt and a t-shirt to work at this time of the year. It’s weird that I am feeling hot right now in the office and it’s winter. The world has gone a bit mad and there are many interpretation regarding the Mayan’s calendar prediction. Some say it marks the start of the new Mayan calendar when it ends while most people would say that the world ends when it ends. Scientist also predicts that this year, the world is likely to face more natural disasters considering that last year, we had seen a handful of calamities that claimed thousands and thousands of lives. Well, scientist also predicts that the snow might even be worse this year but bright and sunny are what we experiencing.

Anyway, I read the free community newspaper that gets delivered to our house every Wednesday and there a few articles about horse riding and related equipment like the breeches and boots. I didn’t know that has horse riding activities going on. In fact, I rode a horse once and that was when I was 12 year old, on a school trip to Malacca. Come to think of it, I am not even sure that it was a horse or a donkey that I rode. I was too young to differentiate the two. It was definitely not as huge as the ones we normally see on tv but it could be a pony. Donkeys aren’t exactly small build either. When Mee and I were in Greece, there were donkeys for hire and they were definitely as huge as horses.

Guess what? I received an email from thehut.com yesterday. It said;

We are really sorry but due to a high demand we have unfortunately sold out and are unable to fulfil your order.

It’s really frustrating and that was the second time that I tried to buy something from the site. I have bought things online so many times and most reputable sites are very good at stock checking especially electronic sites. In addition, it offers PayPal payment but the payment never went through. It kept saying that the payment cannot be processed. It’s a rubbish site and I believe that buying from them requires patience, time and most importantly luck! I would rather look elsewhere even if they cost a little bit more.

Today, Mee and I went to the pilates class. It was full. I guess almost all the classes now are full as most people are trying to get rid of the weight that they gained over the holiday period. The gym area was crowded too. The pilates class was a bit different today as we used resistance bands which kind of help us to stretch further than usual. It’s not often that we use some kind of equipment in this class though it should make the class more interesting. The instructor, I believe, is the best among others in that gym. She monitors the progress of the regulars and will often encourage us to go a bit deeper each time. As for other instructors, they just show you the moves and it’s up to you to follow through.

Come Saturday, we will be going to our second body balance class. It’s a good class but again, the instructor only minds her own business. I did a step wrong last week and she didn’t bother to correct me, or anybody else. Well, I think I just have to be careful myself and not overwork in the body balance class in order to avoid any unwanted injury.

One of the gym’s swimming pools has closed for about a month now. The pool is where most of the swim classes take place. Mee usually goes to a swim class called AquaFit on Tuesday but it was cancelled two weeks in a row now. I wonder if anyone actually complain to them or asking for refund since some of them only have a swimming membership. The management doesn’t explain a lot about the type of maintenance that they are doing. All we see is a message put up on their website’s front page. The other day, I saw a raypak pool heater just outside the swimming pool area and I wonder if that’s the cause of the problem or that’s the new one they were using to replace the old one.
