Quite a nice day to start with today; bright and sunny where as yesterday was cloudy and raining. It was forecasted that this week will be hot. As you may have known, UK has a new prime minister elected and he is from a different party as before. I have not heard much news about this government but all I heard were rise in taxes, again and employment opportunities are still as bad as before, maybe worse. Foreign exchange rate is also at its lowest in recent years. But we cannot really expect a lot of things to change immediately or get better when the new government has only been in charge less than a year, can we?

Yesterday, I was frustrated when I worked from home. The network was a bit slow and it screwed up some of my files. Luckily, I have a copy of my files in the server before I went home last Friday. But then, it means that all the work that I have done yesterday is wasted.

At dinner time yesterday, Mee and I went to Café Rouge to celebrate her belated birthday. It is the same place where I went with my colleagues for last year Christmas lunch. As expected, the food was nice though the wait was a little bit too long as there were not many customers at that time. However, the food was worth the wait.

Mee and I are in Kuala Lumpur at the moment. She is doing another facial wash session while I stay at her sister’s place; online and watching television. My brother came back to Kuala Lumpur yesterday too but this time, he was with his dog and without me. I wondered how he coped with his dog in the back seat. However, I believe that my father must had come up with a solution to keep the dog from jumping up and about in the back seat. My brother must had wished that there were sleeping pills for dog.

Yesterday, I met my friend near her workplace at noon. I have not seen her for like three years. She looked the same despite giving birth twice. She suggested that we meet again with another two friends this Friday but unfortunately, Mee could not join because she will be at her hometown. However, I will definitely take some photos for her to look at.

Back at home again. It was a fun and pleasant trip to Barcelona though we experienced some unpleasant things the first day and the last day. Well, Mee and I had a difficult time searching for the Luton Airpark because our TomTom Navigator was not able to guide us to the Luton Airpark correctly. The junction that the TomTom requesting us to turn did not even exist and the people in a nearby town were unable to tell us the exact location of Luton Airpark. In the end, we had to stop at the side of the road and ask a worker who was repairing the road. We still manage to get to the airport on time. It was kind of funny the way the worker described the roundabout. He referred the roundabout as an island.

I guess that we will have to update our TomTom. The update will be as easy as plugging in the TomTom to the computer using USB cable and purchase the updated map to upload onto the TomTom. I wonder how other people would have to do to update their in-car gps. Do they have to update it through the dealer? That would be expensive, wouldn’t it?
