When Mee and I were back from New York, I lost about 3 – 4 kgs. It is about two weeks now and I am glad that I have gained the 3 – 4 kgs. It is still a couple of kgs before I reached my personal ideal weight but I am quite relief that gaining weight is quite an easy task for me now. Before this, I think it will take me a month to gain 3 – 4 kgs. I am also particularly proud that I do not have to rely regularly on the supplement. Mee’s cooking alone plus some small meals and fruits in between main meals are enough to keep me going.

Well, I still take supplement as they repair the muscles on each workout. I am also very pleased with my current online supplier. Just today, I received an email about their great offer which I believe that I will be ordering one soon as my supplement is quite low now; PhD Pharma Whey plus PhD Lean Degree for £39.99 and it would have cost £89.99 if buy separately. I am currently using Maximuscle Cyclone but I do not mind changing products on every order. The website is fast too even though there are a lot of ads. One of the ads that caught my attention is the one a day plus dha prenatal vitamins. I am sure that this supplement website does not sell prenatal vitamins. Anyway, if I were to make an order a few days earlier, I would have missed their current offer.

It is summer and as usual, the place where I work has contractors coming in to do some repair and maintenance works. Their machines produce noises that are irritating and the vehicles that they bring in have taken up most of the car park spaces. Just this morning, a tractor occupied about 16 car park spaces. Everyday, we see changes and different contractors going in and out. The new patio furniture covers has only been here a couple of weeks and they are now covered with debris from the construction works that carried out around the area. Well, it could do a bit of help if the maintenance department could actually inform us about the scheduled work and which building or department would be affected.

The Gadget Show is one of my favourite TV programmes even though I always complain about two of the presenters in the show. They have done a good job in making the show interesting as well as making comparisons between the different types of technology that are available in a particular device. For example, the television we watch everyday. In the past, we may only think about the size of the TV when we want to make a purchase. These days, we have to think about whether to get a 3D TV, or a LED TV, or a LCD TV, or a Plasma TV and then we will only think about the size.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Surely, a video will worth a million words. To be able to see hands-on reviews, where the presenters are actually using and testing the device on a TV show make a great deal of difference compared to reading a review from the internet.

As much as I like about the show, their reviews published on the website is a disaster. The reviews are not in great detail and features only four sections; the basics, the good, the bad and the bottom line. They give G ratings for every device. I find that most of the gadgets tested have at least 4Gs or 5Gs. I mean no gadgets are perfect and giving a 5Gs to almost all DSLR cameras is like saying that because DSLR cameras take good pictures, they deserve 5Gs. And 4Gs for compact digital cameras because they do not take pictures as good as DSLR. Another example is the iPhone. I have never used iPhone before but surely the loss of signals issues should cost some Gs. However, iPhone 3Gs has a rating of 4Gs while iPhone 4 has a rating of 5Gs. Well, in my opinion, they website reviews are quite a joke.
