Hmm… it’s been quite a while since I last heard Mee talking about losing weight. In a way, it’s a good thing because I don’t see the need to lose weight if one exercise regularly and eat healthily. I for one has similar lifestyle to Mee except the sleeping part. The lifestyle part, of course because we live together and she cooks most of my meals. The sleeping part, I tend to sleep late like 2am most of the time. I think it really makes my body weaker or rather unable to recover fast enough after all those exercises. I started to train quite hard like lifting more weights for the past couple of weeks and that really strained my neck and muscles. It usually takes me about 3 days to fully recover. And I don’t think that’s normal. I guess I just need to try to have a better sleep pattern although I have been talking about it for months. Sometimes, things take time.
One of our housemates is actually taking apidextra for weight loss. I think she has a gym membership but rarely uses it. I used to only see her going to the gym like once a week on Sunday. I am not sure about now since Mee and I have started going to the gym on Sunday as well. In my opinion, apidextra may aid her in weight loss but I don’t think she clearly understands about apidextra side effects. For me, I prefer to use diet protein shake, not that I need to use it. But if Mee is going to talk about weight loss again, I probably will talk her into purchasing diet protein shake instead.

Just finished watching The Apprentice on BBC1. Since the last few series, The Apprentice is not about a job anymore. It has become a £250,000 investment where Lord Alan Sugar will invest in the winner’s business plan. When you look at how The Apprentice narrator describes all the candidates, they are all very good in business and doing what they do. However, when it comes to doing the tasks that Lord Alan Sugar sets out for them, most tv audience will definitely think that they can do better than them. Honestly, one of them has a company that has £3.5million turnover. Why would he still want a £250,000 investment? Maybe after that amount of turnover, there’s not much net profit left?
It’s quite hard to predict some of the things that might and might not happen in each episode of The Apprentice. For example, I thought that the girls group would won the task but it was the boys group who won. And then when it comes to firing an apprentice, the decision could sometime get affected by how the boardroom conversation goes. It’s all a bit fun watching The Apprentice where you get to criticise and act like an expert.

There are quite a number of things that I just couldn’t do or don’t do very well. One of the things would be swimming. I took on a swimming class a couple of years back, thinking that it would be easy to learn. How wrong was I? I don’t float very well is my reason and excuse. I blame it to the non-existent fat compound in my body as well. Apparently, it is quite true that muscular people are not very good swimmer. Well, I am not very muscular but it’s just that I don’t have much fat either. Swimming is just a tedious job for me and every time I swim, I need to use a lot of strength to keep me staying above the water. It’s also quite difficult to practice when the gym that Mee and I go to is quite crowded. Anyway, I kind of still remember what was being taught in the swimming lessons. When Mee and I were in Greece, we took the chance to swim in the hotel’s pool. I would say my progress has been static.
Another thing that I can’t really play is yoyo. When I look at how people play it, it just looks all too easy. When I have a go at it, I just can’t seem to work it out. There are various types, shapes and brands of yoyos like the duncan yoyos and I can’t even play the basic shape of yoyo. I used to be envious of the people in the advertisement where they could play all sort of things with yoyo. I just thought it would be nice if I could do those! But I can’t.
There’s one more thing, clutch bikes. I never try to drive clutch bikes even though I have a bike license. In fact, the idea of driving one already puts me off. I can’t imagine having to control the clutch using one of my hands. There are too many ‘what if’ conditions that refrain me from driving one. Before Mee and I went to Santorini, Greece, we thought that we might rent a quad bike. Upon learning that all quad bikes operate on clutch, I chose to rent a car instead.

I am watching Last House on the Left at the moment. It’s about a couple of young and reckless teenagers being held captive and tortured by several adults. One ends up being killed and the other one escapes and is rescued by her parents. What comes around, goes around. Her parents eventually kill those who abused their daughter. I have watched this movie a couple of times now and I guess I won’t be watching it till the end tonight as I really need to sleep early. Anyway, it’s quite a good movie and there are certainly some elements of fright and tension throughout the movie. However, I can’t really relate the title to the whole story of this movie.
Talking about movie, Mee and I will be going to cinema on Monday to watch Cabin in the Woods. It’s a horror/thriller genre and I wonder how Mee will react once the movie starts. She is not the fan of horror movies and she got a pillow on her face most of the time when watching Dark Water. We’ll see.

I watched a program called The Anti-Social Network. The presenter is Richard Bacon and the show is about trolling.
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
I think for most people, we just couldn’t understand why troll exists. There will always be the good and the bad but it seems like the bad is getting worst and the good is no where near the best. In the program, one of the many trolls was actually caught and prosecuted. And what happened when he came out of jail? A 30-year-old self-employed troll, again. Obviously, he spends most of his time trolling but I am thinking why can’t he be refrained from using the internet just like a paedophile being prohibited from being in places where children can be found.
Sometimes, it’s almost laughable when you hear a law enforcer, who is supposed to provide security, says,”There’s nothing we can do.” And that’s exactly people are being told when they report trolling. The definition of law;
Law is a system of rules and guidelines which are enforced through social institutions to govern behavior, wherever possible.
Most of the time, law suffocates the good and spares the bad.

Eight more days and Mee and I will be doing our first out of nine flights. We haven’t started packing and I haven’t finished planning the trip stuffs. It all sounds a bit hectic and the worst part is that I feel unusually tired since last night. My muscles are still aching since Sunday’s gym session. I guess I won’t be doing any gym-related things tonight and just take Mee to the gym for her AquaFit session.
By the way, I wonder if I will be needing an umbrella in Australia as all my umbrellas are broken. Might have to make do with just Mee’s umbrella. Mine had broken for quite some time already but I haven’t got the chance to look for a new one mainly because it hasn’t been raining. It’s just one of those things where you don’t think about it until you really need it. Anyway, if only consumer’s umbrellas can be as strong as like the market umbrellas at PatioUmbrellas.com. Those types of umbrella could easily withstand strong winds and bad weather. Mee’s umbrella is quite strong too considering that I have two broken ones and her umbrella is still perfectly fine.
Anyway, I just can’t wait to have a relaxing three weeks holiday.
